I've had several positive experiences with the dedicated and professional staff at University Tire. Most recently, I had a full brake service on my 2017 BMW X1. I initially went in on Saturday and Dante was very forthright with me about the scope of the job. While the warning message on the car demanded brake pads, he informed that the with BMW vehicles, rotors and sensors must also be replaced so that the alert goes away and the vehicle performs at ideal capacity. About an hour after performing a no-cost inspection, he confirmed that the full service was required, but that all available shops that sold the parts were not opened and I would have to bring the vehicle in on Monday. During this exchange, I gave him a ballpark budget. He went line item by line item ensuring that he priced each one at the lowest bid possible, bringing the overall cost to a point where I could not forsake the offer. I know I saved at least $300-$400 since the dealership would have been way over what I ended up paying at UT&A. When I went in on Monday, the staff was ready for me and I was on my way to work. I received a text message AND followup phone call later that day to inform me that the service was complete. Close to 5 PM, another call came in to ensure that I was in route and they even offered to wait for me should traffic prove to be an imposition. I've never had this level of attentive care from an automotive service agency ever! The payment/hand-off was smooth and drama free and the manager informed me that the service/brakes had a two-year warranty that accompanied the vehicle, no matter the state of residence. Given how auto service businesses can be insufferable, this delectable experience is one I would repeat in a heartbeat. I unreservedly recommend this place with gusto and delight. As a resident of the North Area USC neighborhood, I am proud we have business like this to vaunt and share with other Angelinos.
