I was totally disappointed today’s visit to University tire. I came here few time before and the service way faster and the quality of service was outstanding because they always get the job done right first time. Now, it took me entire day for just a wheel alignment. I Check in the car before 9am, I got my car back at 12:30pm, and when I’m driving home I noticed the steering wheel was not in a dead center even though the vehicle was traveling down a straight and level road. I returned the vehicle immediately to fix the issue. After another an hour and a half of waiting the service advisor approach me and said my car is done and the results is same as previous report. First of all I’ve been asking for my first report and they gave me only a screenshot of a software that they’ve used for alignment. So how would I know if there been adjustment made to my car? Normally they will send a detailed and narrative report (before and after) now is just a screenshot. so, when I asked for the second report, the service advisor could not provide me a report and he said “oh it’s the same as the first alignment report” I have no idea if they fix it or not and I’m blindly what specific area they made an adjustment. The technician should documented everything whatever has added, removed or adjusted to the vehicle. It’s like a medical chart when you are in a hospital, all medicine and test performed on a patient has to be documented on medical chart. Here attached of screenshot report of my alignment. Normally they provide it in detailed report (before and after). I believe there’s a room for an improvement here. Proper charting and documentation for customer records , also doing the job done right for first time will avoid time wasted of a customer and the technician. Even the owner John didn’t even budge providing me the updated alignment report. I’m very disappointed with this whole experience.
Dexter, we apologize that you left our shop dissatisfied. Thank you for providing us with feedback for areas of improvement that we can work on moving forward.
