This is the only place I'm taking my car in Los Angeles, ever! They are scrupulously honest, thorough, and respectful to all. And I truly mean ALL! They are FEMALE FRIENDLY, QUEER FRIENDLY, and TRANS FRIENDLY! As a woman, I've been to plenty of auto shops where they treat me like an ignorant little lady, ready to be fleeced and bullied into charges I don't need. But that's the opposite of the treatment you get at University Tire & Auto! Everyone I've met who works there is kind, knowledgeable, and can talk to you about your car's issues in regular language. When you get a check up, they send you a detailed document - often with pictures - that spells out every single thing they looked at, what state it's in, whether it's a crucial issue, and what they recommend doing. You always have the option which items to fix and which to leave as is. Everything is documented and done to perfection. They even have an in-house auto body shop for that kind of work!
